St Pat’s provides support for people facing homelessness in Perth’s south metro region. Alongside these services, their ultimate mission is to end chronic homelessness. 

Engagement with established services like St Pat’s provides the opportunity for individuals in need to not only seek immediate crisis support but connect in with a range of other specialist services and early intervention programs, to support them in their journey to overcome disadvantage and homelessness, or risk of homelessness.

In the past 12 months St Pat’s has seen a 30% spike in the number of people accessing our services who are at risk of or experiencing homelessness. In that time, we have provided:

• Housing for more than 500 people
• Free health and dental care worth more than $250,000
• Specialist support for more than 1,000 people, including an increasing number of young people and families with children
• More than $60,000 in clothing and furniture to people exiting homelessness or on low incomes
• Over 1,500 people with Emergency Relief, including food & fuel vouchers, and support paying bills (meaning they don’t have to choose between eating, paying the rent or becoming homeless)
• 7,000 showers
• Over 30,000 meals

St Pat’s understands that every person is unique and comes with their own story and personal journey that has led them to experience some degree of homelessness. Specialist staff walk side-by-side with vulnerable and disadvantaged people by treating them with dignity, respect and fairness. Our aim is to make people feel welcome, secure and valued, and empower them to build on their strengths, and live to their potential.
